Yes, of course. Several participants did the same thing last year. Cheers, Leonardo From pocmatos at gmail.com Fri Aug 4 11:59:12 2006 From: pocmatos at gmail.com (Paulo J. From demoura at csl.sri.com Wed Aug 9 10:11:47 2006 From: demoura at csl.sri.com (Leonardo de Moura) Date: Wed Aug 9 10:11:47 2006 Subject: [SMTCOMP] scrambler Message-ID: <5C2A28EE-C932-4CB7-91BB-6F406D1339C3@csl.sri.com> Hi, We made a minor modification in the scrambler. This modification only affects how variables are declared. It doesn't affect the formula or the order the variables appear in the problem. We made this modification because one of the submitted solvers did not support declarations such as: :extrafuns ((x1 Int) (x2 Int)) So, the new scrambler generates :extrafuns ((x1 Int)) :extrafuns ((x2 Int)) This solver would score 0 in all divisions without this modification. We would rather have this solver in the competition than out because of a technicality like this. BTW, this solver was *not* submitted by the organizers. Best wishes, Leonardo for Aaron and Clark too. The program for this follows. Implementors will be giving short presentations about their tools (I have still to confirm with one team below). There will then be an open discussion, facilitated by the organizers, on this year's and next year's competition. Everyone is welcome to attend.
